Biography
My name is Lizz Daley and I began face painting in 2009 as a way to make some extra money and quickly realized how much I loved it. I'm fortunate enough to have a supportive husband, who is willing to watch our kids while I paint most weekends.
I used to work full time and face paint on weekends, but Fall of 2013 I was able to quit my full time job and just pursue face painting full time. I also stay at home with my kids, a 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter. There are so few people in the world who can do what they love for a living and I feel so appreciative that I really do get to do what I love and enjoy!!
I've developed some great relationships with fellow face painters and taken some professional face painting classes from Pashur House, Dutch Bihary. Marcela Murad, Jay Bautista, Ronnie Mena, Laura Oliver, Nick Wolfe and more. I've also taken body paint classes from the amazing Josh Counsel.
I love the "awesome" and "cool" responses when kids see their painted face in the mirror. That's my favorite part of face painting. I love how their faces light up and how you can help a boy feel super scary or a little girl feel like a beautiful butterfly. I have the best job in the world!!
